Sculpture & Art
- In our studio – we have many years of experience using 3D Scanning & Printing for Sculpture and Moulding with Irish Sculptors and Foundries.
- We work closely with our clients to solve their individual requirements for their project and our 3D technology works with traditional methods of creating sculptures to showcase the work of numerous sculptors.
- The 3D Scan captures the original form of creative artwork to bring it into a digital file for the purpose of 3D printing a mould for the bronze casting process, or even a final piece.

the creation Process
3D Scanning
We can 3D Scan delicate pieces which may be fragile or deteriorate over time such as organic materials, textiles & food.
Non-Contact Scanning
- Our Portable 3D Scanners can scan in a gallery, studio and outdoors.
- Bringing items back into our own 3D Scanning studio is available.
- We work with traditional techniques of creating sculptures by hand.
- Then we can 3D Scan to create a digital file for the next stage in the process.
- We can scan existing sculptures and recreate them at the same or alternative scale.
Accuracy
- We can scan with extreme accuracy – From 50 Microns.
- During the scanning processes, we perform digital file fixing and cleaning.
- Scaling is included to enlarge or reduce size of the piece.
- We produce an editable, sculpt-table mesh where we can add on elements such as ears – any amendments that might be necessary
3D Printing
Also known as Additive Manufacturing – This is the process of producing physical, real-world objects from a digital 3D model on a computer, usually building layers of material or lasers curing resin.
Array of Materials
- PLA
- ABS
- PETG
- TPU
- PA11 Nylon
Process
- Quantity – We can print however many you require.
- Scale – We have printed up to seven meters previously and have the ability to print to any scale in sections and put together.
- Reprints – The digital file can be reprinted at any time in any scale.
- Miniatures – Can print scaled down replicas of large models.
- Resolution – Can be printed from 46 Microns
- Moulding – The 3D Print can be used as a master print ready for moulding and bronze casting.
- Finish – Resin chosen to project it but other finishes also available.
